Land from the royal estate will be used to build a new city and accordingly it willl be called Princeopolis. After intense competition, your company won the contract to build Princeopolis. Your team has the task to develop this new city.”
This is the scenario faced by project managers in London, Liverpool and Abu Dhabi over the summer when they participated in the project management game PRINCEOPOLY run by APM corporate member Outperform.
PRINCEOPOLY teaches project management in practice based on the concept of ‘learning by doing’ - a highly effective way of acquiring new skills and ensuring that classroom experience is transferred to workplace practice. The game takes participants through a full project lifecycle to provide a safe environment for practicing essential skills such as leadership, communication, time management, problem solving and of course applying PRINCE2TM.
